Snowball Fight!!!!

Hi Parents!

Today, the kiddos and I had a snowball fight with compound words with a dance break! It was "snow" much fun! It was difficult to take some pics because we were moving so fast! They loved it so much and asked me if I could make them copies so they can play at home. So you will have the opportunity to play too! Enjoy!

We were high frequency word detectives using magnifying glasses to find our muscle words! Check it out...

Have a super afternoon!

Nursery Rhymes and Fluency

Hi Parents,

Happy Monday! We have been practicing our oral language skills by reading and singing nursery rhymes! It's been fun! I've let the kiddos take turns bringing my boxed set home to share with you.

We are learning about the season of Winter. The students are using the books in the classroom to research and then create their own non-fiction book on their iPads in the Book Creator app.

This afternoon, we kicked off our study of bears! They dove into my books with great excitement! That brought a smile to my face!

Please ask your child about their New Year's resolution that they wrote today. So cute! Stay tuned...I'll post them soon!

Friendly reminders....
~ school mass tomorrow at 9:00... Please wear formal uniform and pack P.E. clothes and sneakers

~ we are in need of replenishing our classroom supplies...markers, glue sticks, pencils, paper towels and Clorox wipes.

Thank you so much!
Have a great night!

We're Baaaaaaack!

Hi Parents!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable vacation! It was so exciting to see each other this morning. I told the kids that they all look taller to me! I missed them :)

The beginning of a new year means new classroom supplies. If anyone would like to donate colored markers, glue sticks, sharpies, a roll of paper towels or a tub of Clorox wipes, it would be greatly appreciated. We are in cold season and I have the students wash the classroom daily. Thank you!

Here is a peek at our new class reward chart...

Check out what the kiddos made in Art class this afternoon with Mrs. Sirianni...SNOW!

Have a great evening!
